Driver safety briefing

Before you can enjoy the fun and excitement of go kart racing, all drivers must watch, in full, the National Karting Association safety briefing video, immediately before attending any event at Hull Adventure.


High Ropes safety briefing

Before you can enjoy the fun and excitement of the high ropes activities, all participants must watch, in full, the safety briefing video below.

Under 18's

Parents and legal guardians of are responsible for ensuring that their child or ward has watched the briefing and safety videos before attending Hull Adventure. You must watch the video with them to ensure that they fully understand all of the -

Participant online registration

All participants at Hull Adventure must register and create an online account (Opens in a new window) before arrival.

Parents and guardians of under 18's must create an account and add any under 18’s to the account at the 'Add a minor section'.

As part of registering a minor you are confirming that they have watched and fully understood the relevant briefing and safety videos above before attending. You are also confirming that they fully understand and accept that karting, motor sports and high ropes activities are inherently dangerous.

After online registration

All participants check in upon arrival for their event.

  • 18-year-olds and under need to be checked in with their parents or guardians account email address and the young person’s date of birth.
  • 16-year-olds and under will require a parent or guardian on site at all times.
  • 17-year-olds can check in themselves and be on site without a parent or guardian.

All participants will undertake a further 'verbal health and safety briefing’ and check before they will be allowed to take part.

If at any point during the process the staff at Hull Adventure believe a participant has not watched the relevant videos at the top of this page in full, or that they do not fully understand the instructions or information, their session will be terminated immediately. This is for their own safety and that of the other participants and staff.

Any participants deemed to be acting dangerously during an activity at Hull Adventure will also have their session terminated immediately.

If we cancel a session because we believe that you have not watched and understood the instruction on the NKA briefing or staff briefing, your session will be non-refundable.

In the event of a technical issue, we will request drivers to complete a hard copy paper version of the consent forms instead.

Participant consent forms are set for the following ages –

  • 8 to 17-years-old – requires driver and parental signatures
  • 18-years-old and over – driver signature only
